Broadway credits: Sophisticated Ladies (Principal dancer and Dance Captain to Gregory Hines)

At three years old, when Debbie Hallak began dance lessons, little did she know that in the years to come she would be rubbing elbows with some of the biggest celebrities in the entertainment industry. Debbie, who hails from Raytown , Missouri , studied at Miller-Marley for 16 years. After high school she headed for Chicago , where she studied with noted choreographer and jazz dancer, Gus Giordano, who made her the dance captain of his dance company. Later, she traveled to the west coast where she was hired by internationally renowned dance educator, choreographer and performer, Joe Tremaine. Debbie then became known by her stage name, K.C. Cole. In Los Angeles , K.C. got her big break when she was chosen to dance alongside none other than Michael Jackson in the Thriller Video. Following that, she traveled with Jackson 's Victory World Tour. K.C. was also a principal dancer and dance captain to Gregory Hines in the production of Sophisticated Ladies. She has choreographed production numbers for some of the most prestigious charity and fund-raising events in Hollywood , several of which took place at the home of the late Johnnie Carson. Debbie now resides in Los Angeles with her husband.
