Broadway credits: 42nd Street , Broadway Revival National Tour (ensemble member)
Leslie Frankel studied at the Miller-Marley Studio from age seven until the day she left for college. While growing up in Kansas City , she practically made a second home for herself at the studio, studying 6 days a week in dance and vocal training, as well as Miller-Marley Entertainers, and the Miller-Marley Youth Ballet Company. She was also involved with over 20 local productions with Blue Valley Youth Players, Music Theatre for Young People, Theater in the Park, and her high school, Blue Valley Northwest. After graduating in 1999, Leslie headed to the University of Michigan to study in their prestigious musical theatre department. After graduating from Michigan , Leslie has since moved to New York to begin a career in the theatre. While having performed in many shows regionally, Leslie's most fulfilling achievement thus far was joining the first national tour of the recent Broadway revival of 42nd Street , an accomplishment that would have been impossible without the guidance of Shirley Marley. Leslie would like to thank Shirley not only for introducing her to a life passion, but also for being a wonderfully inspiring teacher.
