Meggie Cansler

Meggie Cansler graduated with a BFA from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. A few months later she landed her first Broadway show: The Tony nominated revival of "The Apple Tree" starring Kristin Chenoweth. She was also involved in the workshop of the musical "Cry Baby" and a reading of a new musical "Dance With Me" at the York Theatre. Regionally, Meggie has been seen at The American Heartland Theatre as Ruby in "Dames at Sea", at the St. Louis Muny (roles include: Patti Simcox in "Grease", Pegeen Ryan in "Mame", Bett in "Oliver", and Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast. She has been performed at Music theatre of Wichita, Starlight Theatre, and the Cincinnati Pops with Tom Wopat and Jon Schnider. Meggie is the current universal vacation singer swing for "Wicked". She travels to all four U.S. companies (Broadway, The National Tour, Chicago, and Los Angeles) covering all the ensemble women.
