Hannah Yeoman is a graduate from Kansas State University with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Conservation biology with an emphasis in Biodiversity and Conservation and a minor in dance with a certificate in dance education. She grew up in Mission Hills, Kansas, and is an alumna of Miller Marley. She began dancing at the age of five and performed with several dancing companies: Show Biz Performers, Entertainers, Competition Team, and the Disney Troupe.
At Kansas State University, she was a member of the Tap Dance Ensemble and elected president of KanDance, the Kansas State Dance Department student organization for three years in a row. She is also an alumna of Alpha Xi Delta and held many leadership and executive positions. She was a lead researcher in Tap To Togetherness, a project helps to build family relations & enhance childhood development through tap dance in partnership with Parents as Teachers, K-State Early Childhood Development, and the Research & Extension Program.
Most recently, she has been teaching dance, performance, and competition at studios around Manhattan, Kansas. She is ecstatic to be back at the studio that not only turned her into the dancer she is today, but also to help frame the type of person she has become. Nothing makes her happier than having the opportunity to return and be able to instill all of these techniques and values to her students at Miller Marley School of Dance and Voice.
