Andrew Parkhurst

Kansas City native and proud Miller-Marley alum, Andrew Parkhurst is the Dance Captain of the Broadway National tour of Mama Mia! Andrew was a member of the Miller-Marley Entertainers. After graduating with a BFA in Modem Dance from Texas Christian University, Andrew moved to New York City to pursue a career in musical theatre. He has worked at Paper Mill Playhouse, North Shore Music Theatre , North Carolina Theatre, Tennessee Repertory Theatre and Kansas City 's Starlight Theatre. Andrew was Dance Soloist in Roman Polanski's Tanz der Vampire in Vienna , Austria , where he established a reputation as a premier teacher of American musical theatre dance styles. Andrew would like to thank Shirley Marley for preparing him so thoroughly for a career in musical theatre and for her continued support and friendship. He would like to encourage all the students and performers to persist in following their hearts. "If you want it, it will be yours!"
