Haley Hannah grew up dancing at Miller Marley and was part of the Entertainers, MiniTainers and Competition Team. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a B.F.A. in musical theatre in 2010, she immediately moved to New York City and has been active in the performing arts ever since. Her most notable credit to date was performing on Broadway in Bring It On: The Musical, which was nominated for 2 Tony Awards in the 2013 Broadway season. She understudied 3 leading roles and was a member of the ensemble. She also toured with Bring It On: The Musical in 2011-2012. She also toured the U.S. and Canada with Flashdance the Musical as an ensemble member understudying the leading role of "Alex". Haley had the opportunity to back up sing for both Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brother on ABC. She has also appeared as a back-up dancer for Akon and Lonely Island on Comedy Central and MTV. Regionally, she played the role of "Annette" in Saturday Night Fever at both Ogunquit Playhouse and Gateway Playhouse in addition to working at Goodspeed Opera House in Cutman: A Boxing Musical. Haley attributes much of her success to the strong dance and performance training she received in her years at Miller Marley!
A lesson learned at Miller Marley is that they always focused on training and performance rather than competition. It was so important to create a foundation of love dance and loving sharing dance with others for myself before I had to worry about anyone else around me.
