April HamnerApril Hamner is in her 16th year as a highly sought after teacher, trainer, and choreographer. As a dancer she has received awards such as dancer of the weekend with New York City Dance Alliance, Miss senior showbiz, singed with Block agency NYC dancing for companies such as Old navy, Victoria's Secret, and Tag Heuer. She is a Core staff member for Universal Dance Alliance training all staff from around the nation how to teach and inspire students at camps. She has trained dancers on some of the top Dance teams in the nation including University of Minnesota, Louisiana State University, University of Colorado, and University of Tennessee. All of who consistently place top 5 in the nation. Many of whom also go on to be on professional cheer teams like Broncos, Brooklyn Nets, Nuggets, and Dallas Cowboys. She also has several students living in NYC and LA working as a professional dancer for many different companies such as the Rockettes, touring with An American in Paris, back up for Lady Gaga, and working with companies such as Immabeast. As a Pure Barre instructor and master teacher trainer she brings in her extensive knowledge in Anatomy and physiology to educate students on proper training, recovery, and prevention for a long successful career. She is so excited to once again work with all the talented dancers at the Miller Marley End-of-Summer Intensive! |
