Chris Kotera (Allen)

Chris began dancing at Miller Marley at age 11, shortly after performing in a few local productions and thinking, "Hey, those dancers with red bags look cool, I wanna do that!" After graduating with a musical theatre BFA from The University of Oklahoma in 2010 and working and auditioning in and out of NYC for three years, he landed a role in the 1st national tour of the Evita revival for 2013-14. Kansas City professional credits include performances at Starlight and The New Theatre Restaurant as well as choreographing for MTYP. Other regional performances include: Riverside (Vero Beach, FL), Pioneer Theatre (Salt Lake City), Casa MaƱana (Ft. Worth), STAGES St. Louis, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, and Discoveryland (Tulsa). Chris is also a student at The Upright Citizens Brigade improv theatre in NYC. Much thanks to family, friends, coaches, and especially all of his Miller Marley teachers!
