Jill Hochman specializes in working with very young people and is the author of two programs in the performing arts for preschool / Kindergarten children, " Movement With Motivation " and " An Introduction to the Performing Arts ".

She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has directed two preschools in Overland Park. In addition, she has served as an artist in residence with the Enhanced Learning Program of the Shawnee Mission School District and the Johnson County Libraries.

At Miller-Marley, Jill instructs the Tap I and II Programs, Adult Tap and Preschool/K Creative Movement and Musical Theatre.  In addition, she is the Director of the Teeny-Tinitainers and directs the Miller-Marley Dancing Princess Performing Arts Camp.

Jill began studying with Shirley Marley at 8-years-old and performed, under Shirley's direction, at Starlight Theatre and on local television, as well as many area stages.   Jill's family includes her husband, Dean and son, Jack, who is a student at Miller-Marley.  Jill's "other" family includes all the wonderful children, parents and staff at the studio who fill her life with joy!
